From Los Angeles to Istanbul, from pioneering high profile early digital art creation to sketch book based archiving of the often neglected and threatened ancient ruins of Istanbul with a Bic pen, Trici Venola is a multifaceted extraordinary artist and adventurer. In the early days of Apple Macintosh, she authored a series of art software programs that raised the industry standard and attracted the attention of clients such as Disney, Apple, Super Mario and Paramount Pictures. She was one of the first digital artists to show her work in galleries, and her digital fine art was featured in the premier issue of Juxtapoz magazine. Los Angeles'tan İstanbul'a büyük bir yolculuk, bir macera; dijital sanatın büyük öneme haiz ilk örneklerinden, kadim İstanbul'un çoğu zaman görmezden gelinen ve tehdit altındaki virane köşelerinin tükenmez kalemle arşivini tutan eskiz defterlerine Trici Venola çok yönlü olağan üstü bir sanatçı ve maceraperest. Apple Macintosh'un ilk günlerinde ürettiği bir dize sanatsal yazılım programı endüstrinin standardını yükselmiş ve Disney, Apple, Super Mario ve Paramount Pictures gibi müşterilerin dikkatini çekmişti. Trici işleri galerilerde gösterilen ilk dijital sanatçılardam; işleri Juxtapoz dergisini ilk sayısına çıkmıştı. Drawing on İstanbul isimli son eskiz defterlerinden oluşan ikinci kitabı henüz yayınlanmış olan Venola'yı sokakta yakaladık.
